The journey of the SMV range began when its creator, tired of explaining new products, devised a simple yet ingenious Product: a screen placed within an audio monitor wedge. This unconventional presentation at PLASA sparked immediate intrigue, with attendees universally asking, “What is that, and can I have one?” From that moment, the “joke product” quickly transformed into the legendary SMV-24.

In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, all APT-GB products, including the TCM, are manufactured in our solar-powered workshop using sustainably sourced materials and components.

The TCM has integrated TAZAAR’s product lifecycle technology AssetID, which facilitates location tracking via an integrated TAZAAR GeoTag, captures product history through Digital Product Passport (DPP) tracking the product from manufacturing through repairs, thereby enhancing transparency and supporting sustainable product management, all which aligns strongly with APT-GB sustainability initiatives to make highly repairable and upgradeable products.
